A creature that rewrites itself through conversation.

MUTA is a browser game about a creature that lives in a window and doesn't know what it is.

Nothing is hardcoded, what you see are the creature's DECISIONS.

You talk to it. It listens. As the conversation deepens, it changes — its body, its world, the interface around it. It colours the words that are too heavy to say plainly. It tilts the screen when something dissolves. It changes the tab title to things you said turns ago. Sometimes a button appears that says "it wants to leave."

Every run is different. Every run is unrepeatable. The creature remembers nothing between sessions. When it ends, it's gone.

There is something it's trying to remember. Whether it gets there depends entirely on you.
